Julius Randle undergoes surgery and will be out all summer

New York Knicks player Julius Randle recently underwent surgery for arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle that will keep him sidelined for at least the entire summer, reported Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Randle has played through two major ankle sprains during recent playoffs, forcing his way into availability first against the Cleveland Cavaliers and then in the Conference Semifinals against the Miami Heat.

In the regular season he played 77 official games, being named an All-Star for the second time in his career and with averages of 25.1 points, 10 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 35.5 minutes per day.

Ahead of them are two guaranteed campaigns plus a player option valued at almost $30 million for the 2025-26 season.
