The FIBA ​​Women’s Asian Cup 2023 will be held in Sydney, Australia from June 26th to July 2nd. We are pleased to inform you that the 12 members of the “AKATSUKI JAPAN” women’s national team have been decided for the main tournament. The Japan Women’s National Team will aim to win the FIBA ​​Women’s Asian Cup for the first time in its history for the sixth time in a row.

In addition, the 12 people announced this time and the development team will participate in the 3rd training camp from June 13th and the “Mitsui Fudosan Cup 2023 (Takasaki Tournament)” to be held at Takasaki Arena from June 16th to 18th. 13 people, including member Minami Yabu, will enter. Minami Yabu will not participate in the FIBA ​​Women’s Asian Cup 2023, but in anticipation of her accumulation of experience in international competitions, she will participate in the “Mitsui Fudosan Cup 2023 (Takasaki)”.

In addition, Rui Machida will not participate in the “Mitsui Fudosan Cup 2023 (Takasaki)” and the “FIBA Women’s Asian Cup 2023” due to an injury during the national team training camp that required long-term treatment.
