In order to expand the dissemination of sports among the university community and the Tlaxcalan population, the Polytechnic University of Tlaxcala Western Region (Uptrep) appointed the honorary president of the Advisory Committee for Welfare and Social Development of the State of Tlaxcala, Fernanda Espinosa de los Monteros Cuéllar, as ambassador of the discipline of Archery
The university has the first Inclusive Development Center endorsed by the Tlaxcala Sports Institute (IDET), it is also the only institution in the state with its own facilities and regulations to practice archery, which allows young people to have outstanding participation in regional tournaments.
