Outburst of anger after the lost final …
Coach legend José Mourinho (60 / AS Roma) after the Europa-League-The bankruptcy against Sevilla (2:5 nE) in the catacombs properly followed up.
Videos circulating on the Internet show the coach unleashing one tirade after another in the underground car park of the Final Stadium in Budapest.
The worst, which he repeats several times: “You’re a fucking shame!”
According to media rumors, the insult was thrown at final referee Anthony Taylor.
Mourinho also fumed: “Even Rosetti (Uefa representative, editor’s note) said it wasn’t a penalty.”
The Portuguese alludes to the Briton’s penalty whistle. The fact that the penalty kick was taken back after the video referee checked it and therefore had no influence on the outcome of the game did not make Mourinho any milder.
After the game, shortly after the award ceremony, the coach pulled the medal for the runner-up over his head and tossed it to a young fan in the stands. A clear gesture of the importance of second place for him.
It was only the first bankruptcy for the self-proclaimed “The Special One” in the sixth European Cup final.
The coach: “I’ve won five finals, but I’ve never been prouder than today. The players gave everything and worked hard.”
Mourinho left his future in Rome open: “I’m tired,” said the star coach. “I want to stay at AS Roma, but my players earn more. i deserve more I’m tired of being a coach, head of communications, face of the club. I would like to stay, but only on the right terms.”
Mourinho and Roma lost out in a shoot-out against Sevilla FCafter being 1-1 after 90 and then 120 minutes.
For the Spaniards it was the seventh triumph in the Europa League since 2006.
