Tennis-Star Emma Raducanu (20) has separated from her German coach Sebastian Sachs (30). The Stuttgart native has been working with the 2021 US Open winner since December 2022.
Meanwhile, the former No. 10 has slipped to world No. 107 and will slip further as she also misses the next Grand Slam tournament at Wimbledon. It is unclear whether she will be back on the pitch for the US Open at the end of August, but it seems difficult.
Raducanu played her last match in April in Stuttgart, when she lost in the first round to Jelena Ostapenko (25) from Latvia.
The only advantage: Due to the protected ranking for injured players, Raducanu does not have to qualify for the first Grand Slams after her return, but is automatically in the main draw.
