A successful away match for Kan Judo Olbia.

Success for the Kan Judo Olbia in recent days in France at the “Challenge Jean Paul le Sanquer” Of Ajaccio. The very young judo athletes from Olbia, led by the master Angelo Calvisi – black belt 5′ dan -, they played a leading role, adequately defending the tricolor as only Italian team in the race.

At the event, organized by theJudo Club 2A” of Ajaccio by the master Stephane Daughterscurrently president of the judo committee of Corsica, many athletes of all the expected competitive classes participated, above all Beginners A and B, Cadetse Boys.

There were 9 hours of competition, in front of a very large and very active audience. An excellent competition. The Angelo Calvisi judo team participated with 6 athleteswho worked hard to be able to conquer the podium.

In the end, 5 athletes from Olbia did it, conquering one gold and four silver medals. By showcasing the promising technical and competitive skills achieved, in front of the Olbia public present to support them.

Gold was won again by Francesco Spanocategory 55 Kg Beginners, reigning regional champion and last year’s regional grand prix champion.

Silver for Diego Langiu60 kg category, Cadet class, Jacopo Merone66kg category, Beginner class e Dennis Canu, 60kg category, Beginners class B. All authors of an excellent competitive test and winners of 4 meetings each in their respective weight categories. Silver also for Gabriel Piccinno 55kg category, Cadet class. Stopped in the heats Andrea Piccinnowho met with much more experienced athletes.
