The Champions League final is taking place in Istanbul – and it includes a premiere for German TV viewers: ZDF reporter Claudia Neumann will be the first woman to comment on the final.

It is a real premiere for German sports television: Claudia Neumann will be the first woman to comment on the final of the Champions League. The journalist is on duty as a reporter for ZDF for the Manchester City soccer game against Inter Milan on Saturday evening (9 p.m.) after commenting on the women’s final of the Champions League last Saturday.

Champions League: Moderator is Jochen Breyer

The moderator of the second is Jochen Breyer, with experts Per Mertesacker and Christoph Kramer having their say. The ZDF staff for the broadcast from Istanbul also includes referee expert Manuel Gräfe and Nils Kaben and Eike Papsdorf, who are responsible for interviews. The pre-run begins at 8:25 p.m.

DAZN customers can also watch the final on the paid streaming service. Commentator is Uli lever. Laura Wontorra and Sebastian Kneißl will moderate in the studio, while Alex Schlueter and expert Michael Ballack will moderate in the stadium. The preliminary reports start at DAZN at 8 p.m.
