DENVER NUGGETS-MIAMI HEAT 108-111

Miami gets back up after the beating in Game 1 and brings the series back into perfect balance. For the Nuggets it is the first home defeat of these playoffs. The match sees the Heat immediately establish themselves in the game and take a double-digit lead in the first quarter, but then Denver’s reaction is not long in coming and, with a 34 to 25 in the second period, reverses the balance. At halftime, the hosts close ahead 57 to 51. The second half proves to be balanced until the middle of the fourth quarter, when the Heat manage to score the shoulder that closes the accounts in the match. Gabe Vincent is the leading scorer of his team with 23 points, Jimmy Butler stops at 21 and 9 assists, Bam Adebayo at 21 and 9 rebounds, Max Strus at 14 made and Duncan Robinson at 10 points. The umpteenth dizzying performance by Nikola Jokic is not enough for the hosts, who ends the game with 41 points and 11 rebounds. Jamal Murray follows with 18 and 10 rebounds, Aaron Gordon with 12 and 7 rebounds, and Bruce Brown with 11 points.
