Benzema follows in Ronaldo’s footsteps and details of the agreement are already known

The French forward is on his way to Saudi Arabia and will be guided by Nuno.

After the departure of Real Madrid was announced, Benzema’s future should really pass through football in Saudi Arabia. The rumor gained new contours with the information that the 35-year-old French striker “signed the main part of the documents to become the new player of Al Ittihad”, champion of that Asian country that is coached by Nuno Espírito Santo, according to Fabrizio Romano, market expert journalist.

Benzema spent 14 seasons with the Whites. He arrived at Real Madrid in 2009, aged just 21, from French side Lyon, the club where he graduated and made it to the main team.

The forward was also distinguished several times individually, including winning the Ballon d’Or, France Football’s award for the best footballer of the season, snatched in 2022.

If the move to Saudi Arabia is confirmed, he will be opponent of Cristiano Ronaldo, great star of Al Nassr. The contract will be valid until 2025, with an option for another season.
