Zarautz: Tomorrow Lore Austing and Naiara Villasante will take part in the European Cup, in Malaga

The Judo athletes Klub Lizardi, Lore Austing, and Naiara Villasantre will participate tomorrow, Saturday, in the European Cup, in Malaga. The young competitors leave on a trip today, Friday, to arrive at the weigh-in and the subsequent ‘athlete control’ in the afternoon, at a hotel in the city. Lore will compete in the weight category of less than 78 kg., and Naiara in less than 70 kg.

Both have conscientiously prepared the appointment, since it is a European-level competition, being the first time that the two attend an event of this level. They will compete as athletes of the national team and will have the opportunity to face the best judokas in Europe.

The two come from participating in the Spanish championship that was held last April in Arganda del Rey (Madrid). The two eighteen-year-old competitors, who are in their second year of high school, and who intend to go to university next year to study physiotherapy and medicine, come well prepared.
