Victo invites the population to take up the challenge “Together, we move!”

As part of a special program organized on Sundays, June 4 and June 18, the Hop la Ville movement invites the population to take up the challenge “Together, we move! » powered by ParticipACTION.

Inclusive programming is offered, offering an approach that promotes the participation of people with disabilities, immigrants or from LGBTQ2S+ communities.

“Health is everyone’s business! In June, Hop la Ville invites the population, regardless of their condition, to participate in one of the meetings offered and try out new disciplines! Take the opportunity to discover our sports facilities while taking advantage of the advice of the members of our sports associations. On June 4 and 18, together, we move! “, launched the mayor of Victoriaville, Antoine Tardif.

“By taking up the challenge ”Together, we move! of ParticipACTION, our sports associations are taking the turn of inclusion. This program offers training to our sports organizations in order to equip them to adequately welcome individuals from groups worthy of equity. It makes it possible to put in place favorable conditions for the practice of a sport so that everyone can benefit from these activities. This special program thus makes it possible to offer these people the possibility of learning a new sport,” adds the municipal councilor and elected responsible for social policies, Chantal Moreau.
