Lo sport protagonist of the next two weeks in Gravellona. Indeed, they return open days to let primary and middle school children try out various sports disciplines: basketball, athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, volleyball, football, boxing, horse riding, climbing, mountain biking, bowls, archery, soccer… and more.
“Try to choose” is the motto of the Open Days, made possible thanks to the availability of fifteen sports associations that participate again this year in the Sports Festival and share with the administration the importance of promoting sport for healthy, balanced and happy growth of the younger generations.
“The pause imposed by the pandemic, the difficulties of the recovery and those due to the ordinary and extraordinary efforts of each sports club have not stopped us and the School – they underline from the city building -, which has always supported this event, has made itself available to animate it even with your own end of year show, which will be held at the Boroli Stadium, in the afternoon of 11 June. The title of the show by the children of the Albertini Primary School in collaboration with Arcademia is ‘The essential is invisible to the eyes’. A project, an idea, an emotion… that will leave the public speechless”.
Attendance at sporting trials organized in the two weeks (from 29 May to 10 June) will be validated by the managers of the sports associations through the “Sport Passport” : for young sportsmen who will participate in at least 10 open days out of 15 is expected a prize, which will be delivered on 11 June, at the Boroli Stadium. Also on 11 June, two other important appointments: the assignment of the Sportsman of the Year 2023 awardCity of Gravellona Toce and, at the end of the Primary School children’s show, the final match of the Baskin project created by the students of the G.Galilei middle school thanks to the support of the Community Foundation of the VCO and of the Paffoni Fulgor Basket.
