After resuming activity last season after the coronavirus pandemic, this time participation figures have already been reached with values similar to previous editions.
The organization of the contest is carried out by Club Badminton Soria and the Provincial Delegation of Badminton that make available to the players, referees in all courts as the necessary resources to facilitate the correct development of the competition. All participants will receive a bag with various products as well as the coveted shirt of this edition of the popular tournament.
The start of the competition will take place on Saturday at nine in the morning, ending twelve hours later with a light break in the middle of the day. During Sunday morning the final rounds will be held, which will also start at nine in the morning, with the trophies being delivered around two in the afternoon.
Conceived as a fundamentally participatory activity, all the players will be included in a group phase with the dispute of at least two games per modality and the first two classified accessing the final phase. With this competition format, the number of matches to be played will skyrocket to 313.
The competition has been divided into absolute categories, sub17 and sub13, with the various players being able to choose two modalities between individual, double or mixed double.
The venue for the competition will be the Fuente del Rey sports center, to which all lovers of this sport are invited to enjoy two vibrant days.
The organizers want to thank Soria’s public institutions, sponsoring companies and the media for their collaboration so that this tournament can be held and that all the participants enjoy this great badminton party in Soria.
