The Fête du jeu, promoted by the Saint-Rémy childhood and youth association and coordinated by Vanessa Viard, deputy director, recently invited itself for its 12 e edition, in the town of Creuzier-le-Neuf.
This event, which attracted 776 visitors, was an opportunity for the Ludivers mobile toy library, located in Saint-Rémy-en-Rollat, to highlight its early childhood spaces, its large wooden games and intergenerational board games. selected on nearly 200 m².
Fun workshops
The Childhood Youth Association wanted to promote the educational, social and cultural mission of the game as part of this unifying day, generating local dynamics.
Playful and respectful workshops of the charter, associated with this festival, were organized by local associations and structures which had come in large numbers: Movimiento which offered an introduction to zumba; Meditation and relaxation with relaxation workshops; Col canto choir and choir; meeting and leisure with an introduction to belote and tarot and an exhibition of French souvenirs; the library with reading of kamishibaï and tells carpets; the football club with fun ball handling workshops; the Sports Retreat with an introduction to archery; Christopher Tourneur with drone piloting initiation; retrogaming room and circuit 24 proposed by Bastien Chaffat; CCFD Terre solidaire, which offered an escape game; the organizers of the Saint-Rémy leisure center who ran the make-up stand; the Laudemarière equestrian center and Marcelin Cognet’s horse-drawn carriage.
The festival committee and the parents of pupils from Creuzier-le-Neuf helped the youngsters of the AMJ of Charmeil to run the gourmet space, the profit from sales of which amounted to €1,200 at the end of the day. The raffle was a great success with its 150 prizes and was closed in the middle of the afternoon. This revenue will be used to finance the summer stays of the teenagers.
