Sunday evening, his entourage had indicated that he would decide within 48 hours on the evolution of the state of health of the day.

In a press release that we were able to consult this Tuesday noon, the health establishment indicates: “The patient is still admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital, after suffering a the head. He is cared for by specialists in intensive medicine and continues under sedation”.

“We’re not having a good time”

A few minutes earlier, his wife, Alba, very moved, had also spoken in front of the journalists, indicating that Sergio Rico “was stable”. “The hospital (…) will tell you how everything is going. A bit of respect. We’re not having a good time. Thank you for all the love,” she added.

Also met on leaving the hospital shortly after 11:30 a.m. this morning, the player’s relatives, including a member of the You First agency who represents him, still seemed worried.

“His general condition is stable, in seriousness. He is still awaiting the clinical evolution in the next few days,” reads the rest of the press release. Only three half-hour visits are authorized each day, and only allow the presence of two people at a time.
