The entity will inaugurate the 2023 Conade National Games with the discipline of rugby, in Oaxtepec; golf, table tennis, handball, modern pentathlon and badminton are the other sports that the state will host.
After seven years, the state of Morelos will once again host the fair called the National Olympiad, now the Conade National Games.
The entity will house six disciplines and with rugby it will kick off this important sporting fair at the children’s and youth level.
Three teams will represent Morelos in this sport. It is the team under 20 years of age in both branches and under 17 years of age in male.
At eight in the morning, the under-17 team will open the competitions against the State of Mexico, at Club Dorados, Oaxtepec.
“The strongest team we have is the women’s, that group has been constant, this is their second year of competition. Besides, they were playing in the senior women’s team in the rugby season of the Mexican Federation, in which we reached the quarterfinals. end” pointed out Abraham Castro, president of Tlahuica Rugby Morelos and delegate of Rugby Morelos.
The U17 men’s team will face the State of Mexico, Coahuila, Veracruz, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Puebla and Aguascalientes
The Under 20 men’s team will face Nuevo León, Coahuila, Puebla, UNAM, the State of Mexico, Querétaro and Veracruz.
The Under 20 women’s team will face
Coahuila, Guanajuato, Colima, Nuevo León, Veracruz, State of Mexico and Mexico City.
Morelos will compete in 21 of the 37 sports that the sports fair will have.
Handball, rugby, table tennis, badminton, golf, gymnastics, cycling, archery, swimming, fronton, triathlon, boxing, weightlifting, open water, chess, wrestling, tennis, karate do, 3×3 basketball, taekwondo and athletics are the sports in which athletes will seek to surpass the 70 medals achieved last year.
The venues of the competitions in Morelos will be: Centennial Sports Unit, Autonomous University of the State of Morelos (UAEM), Club Dorados Oaxtepec and at the facilities of the Mexican Institute of Social Security located in Oaxtepec.
The other venues that will host the Conade National Games are Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Nayarit and Tabasco.

Golf (from May 20 to 24)
Table tennis (from May 28 to June 3)
Badminton (from May 28 to June 6)
Handball (from June 12 to 24)
Modern pentathlon (June 14-23)
