Second division club SV Licht-Loidl Lafnitz has presented Michael Steiner as their new coach. After a few academy positions, including at Salzburg, Rapid, St. Pölten and Basel, the 48-year-old from Salzburg slipped into the role of head coach. Most recently, he worked for local rivals TSV Egger Glas Hartberg as manager of the football school.
The job in Lafnitz was vacant after the previous coach Philipp Semlic announced that he would not renew his contract, which expired at the end of the season.
