On Sunday, May 7, at the Pedro Muñoz Municipal Sports Pavilion – Ciudad Real, we enjoyed one more day of this spectacular sport with the II Judo Phase of the Castilla La Mancha School Age Sports Championship. More than 100 Judokas from all over the Region gathered in the Junior Category, both female and male.
It was a morning session full of emotion, technique and quality, demonstrated year after year by the judokas of Castilla La Mancha, taking into account the young age of the participants. The fight to get a place on the podium after the sum of the scores obtained in the two Phases of which this category is made up, was the main objective of the competitors.
The Judokas of the clubs that represented the province of Albacete in this Phase obtained the following results, 5 golds, 6 silvers and 4 bronzes, these were distributed as follows:
BY CLUBS:
Judo Club Albacete Escolapios – Forms.- 3 golds, 2 silvers and 1 bronze.
Casas Ibáñez Judo Club.- 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.
INDIVIDUAL:
FEMALE ALEVIN:
Gold Medal.- Lucía Flores, Jimena Rueda, Avril Riggs and Celia Tercero.
Silver Medal.- Alejandra Pla and Luna Alcántara.
Bronze Medal.- Marta González and Irene Pardo.
ALEVIN MALE:
Silver Medal.- Jesús Paños.
Bronze Medal.- Jorge Rodrigálvarez.
After this II Phase and adding the points to those obtained in the I Phase, the Final Podium of the judokas from Albacete was as follows:
Gold Medal: Lucía Flores, Avril Riggs, Celia Tercero and Jesús Paños.
Silver Medal.- Jimena Rueda, Alejandra Pla and Luna Alcántara.
Bronze Medal.- Gabriela Aroca, Marta González and Irene Pardo.
