13 years and 120 places in the world ranking separate Fabio Fognini from Felix Auger-Aliassime. And it is the oldest and the lowest ranked, who triumphed this Monday on the Simonne Mathieu court at 1is Roland-Garros tower. The Italian purely and simply sent the Quebecer back to his dear studies, eliminating him in three severe sets: 6-4, 6-4, 6-3. Much more crafty, Fognini managed the perfect match by defeating his young rival born in 2000, author of 32 unforced errors.
