Flanders Classics CEO Tomas Van Den Spiegel becomes director at Anderlecht | Jupiler Pro League

Tomas Van Den Spiegel was a remarkable guest today in the Lotto Park, during Anderlecht’s board of directors. That council was organized after the disappointment of the past season.

The CEO of Flanders Classics will become the second director on behalf of Mauvavie, the company with which chairman Wouter Vandenhaute bought into the club with his business partner Geert Duyck.

Mauvavie was entitled to two seats on the board of directors: after chairman Vandenhaute, Van Den Spiegel now fills the second seat.

It is no coincidence that it is precisely Van Den Spiegel. In recent years, the ex-basket player has grown into a successful sports director at cycling organizer Flanders Classics, founded by Vandenhaute.

“Tomas Van Den Spiegel was present today as acting director and will join as director once confirmed by the general meeting”, Anderlecht reports to our editors.

Mauvavie is entitled to two directors on the board of directors, of which only one has so far been filled by Wouter Vandenhaute. Tomas Van Den Spiegel will be the second.
