Leandro Paredes celebrates his first goal with Juventus by hugging Paul Pogba. This is the explanation of the midfielder from Argentina!
Juventus vs Lecce which took place at the Allianz Stadium was completed on Thursday (4/5/2023) in the morning WIB. Paredes made Juventus lead 1-0 first in the 15th minute through the execution of a free kick.
He then ran towards Paul Pogba who was on the bench. As he approached the sidelines, Paredes jumped up and hugged Pogba who was already standing there.
Paredes then explained his goal celebration. He admitted that he had previously practiced free kicks with Pogba.
“Because before the game I always take free kicks, today I told him I have good feelings and he agreed. That’s why I hugged him after the goal,” Paredes told DAZN.
Lecce then equalized the score at 1-1 in the 37th minute through Assan Ceesay’s penalty. Dusan Vlahovic three minutes later made Juventus lead 2-1 until halftime.
No goals were created throughout the second half. Juventus were finally able to taste victory again after four matches in Serie A before winning three defeats and one draw.
Juventus to be in third position with 63 points. Lecce is in 16th place with 31 points.
