The facilities of the Superior Sports Council in Madrid have experienced the first mini concentration of the Women’s National Team in view of the important agenda for this summer of 2023. Ana Junyer and Nuria Martínez are working with 12 players who will be the basis of the next calls.
These first days of work are serving to put on track the tactical script that the Women’s National Team will use in the upcoming tournaments. The Women’s National Team’s summer calendar has the World Cup in Vienna as its first key date, from May 30 to June 4. with the Pre-European on June 10 and 11 in Constanza; the European Games from June 21 to 24 and the possible European Games in Jerusalem from September 5 to 7. In addition, the Women’s Series of the summer will be important, especially the one that takes place in Melilla on August 18 and 19.
Ana Junyer also takes advantage of the participation of 12 players to carry out small competition exercises and check the physical condition of the players after the demanding 5×5 season.
