Ex-player Anderlecht: “Via Mogi Bayat at Club Brugge”

Mogi Bayat was for many years the broker with the greatest power in Belgium. He certainly still does the necessary business in Belgian football, but he lost the necessary influence. Remarkable: a few years ago he almost guided an ex-player from RSC Anderlecht to Club Brugge.

Jonathan Legear retires from football and canned The last hour back on his career. For example, he signed for the big money with Terek Grozny. “I especially regret not signing for Dinamo Moscow a year earlier. I was advised against going there to end up in the Russian championship. I would have been in a better team and in a better city. I shouldn’t have listened to certain people,” he said. His then manager Christophe Henrotay, among others, was very decisive in the transfers in his career.

Genk and Standard

Afterwards, Legear moved to Olympiacos, a club where Henrotay had a lot of influence. “The thing I regret most is when I left Russia. I had 20 clubs that showed interest, but my agent Christophe Henrotay told me to go to Olympiacos, who didn’t really want me. I could have signed for Standard or Genk Even at Club Brugge, via Mogi Bayat who was able to complete the deal. And instead I haven’t played football for a year and a half.”

Legear played in his career for Anderlecht, Terek Grozny, Olympiacos, Blackpool, KV Mechelen, STVV, Standard, Adana Demirspor and Wezet. He was also Red Devil twice.
