LeBron James and Stephen Curry are considered the great representatives of the NBA in recent times. The Los Angeles Lakers forward is considered the most complete forward and the Golden State Warriors point guard as the best shooter.
Now both stars will meet in the playoffs and there are many expectations about it, to see a fight between both figures. Darvin Ham, coach of the Lakers, described this matchup as “the best rivalry of this generation.”
“LeBron, what he was able to do, go to (eight) straight Finals, and obviously Steph and those guys, what they were able to do with those four championships,” Ham said Monday, courtesy of Sports Central. “That’s the rivalry. Rivalry of generations, particularly those two players. It’s going to be another fun battle.”
Golden State faced LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers four times, with a result of 3 wins and 1 loss for the team led by Stephen Curry.
James and Curry also met in the play-in two years ago. The Lakers prevailed in a thrilling affair 103-100, overcoming a 13-point halftime deficit. James scored a triple-double and Curry scored a game-high 37 points, including six 3-pointers.
