The Portugal team revealed on Monday the squad list for the duels against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland, corresponding to the Euro 2024 qualifiers that will be played in Germany.
The information was revealed by the technical director Roberto Martínez, who placed the Al-Nassr striker from Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo, as the first name on this list.
Cristiano’s presence is not surprising, since the strategist has already summoned him and assured that he will remain the captain of the national team.
Some of the other high-caliber figures on the list include Bernardo Silva (Manchester City), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Joao Félix (Chelsea) and Rafael Leao (Milan).
Portugal will face Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Estadio da Luz and then travel to Reykjavik against Iceland; Currently the team is leading Group J of the 2024 Euro Cup qualification with a total of two victories.
