The San Sebastian debuted in Bangkok with good feelings, defeating the American Ishika Jaiswal with authority, but she could not prevent the Asian Gao from coming back and take the victory.
Azurmendi completely controlled the first set, entering the interval with an 11-4 lead and sealing the game with an 8-0 run.
