Chipotle will give away free food during the NBA Finals

Chipotle Mexican Grill is giving away free burritos and bowls during the 2023 NBA Finals every time a player earns three points.

Chipotle announced Monday the “Free-Pointer” promotion that will run during the 2023 NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat.

When a triple is successful, Chipotle will give out a text code to win via a tweet from @ChipotleTweets a Twitter.

The first 300 fans to text the designated code 888222 will receive one free ticket.

Chipotle said it will give away up to 10,500 free tickets per game.

“Like a timely 3-pointer on basketball’s biggest stage, Free Chipotle knocks people out of their seats,” Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s chief brand officer, said in a press release. “This year, when it rains three, it rains free burritos.”

The NBA Finals will begin on Thursday when the Nuggets host Game 1 at Ball Arena in Denver.

The Heat look to capture their fourth championship in franchise history while the Nuggets are in the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.
