According to “Bild”, Markus Krösche has no interest in the vacant post of sports director at Bayern Munich. The 42-year-old will stay with league opponent Eintracht Frankfurt regardless of a possible offer from the German record champions.

“Markus Krösche does not have an exit clause in his contract and is an essential building block for our successes in the past two years. We know from discussions with him that he is not considering a change and is only concentrating on his work in Frankfurt”, Frankfurt’s chairman of the supervisory board, Philip Holzer, told the “Bild”. Krösche is under contract with the cup finalists from Hesse until 2025.

Krösche is said to have offers from several top clubs

After Oliver Kahn’s exit, Krösche should also be in the focus of the German champions in addition to Leipzig’s Max Eberl. Bayern supervisory board member Uli Hoeneß described him as a “good man”. According to “Bild” information, Krösche is said to have already rejected offers from Ajax Amsterdam and the three top English clubs Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

“The fact that his name is associated with other top clubs shows that the very good work at Eintracht Frankfurt is recognized nationally and internationally,” said Holzer.
