Ukrainian athletes will boycott the judo worlds in Doha. It is the first major international competition to welcome back Russian and Belarusian athletes, excluded from most sporting events since the invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The International Judo Federation has indeed given the green light the reinstatement of Russians and Belarusians on the condition that they do so individually and as neutral athletes.
