The BHD offers the young people signed a program that includes meetings with parents, coaches and direct relatives with the purpose of raising awareness and educating the family and social ecosystem about financial responsibility and the correct management of money.

“Gamers are the raw material of our industry. That is why we make an effort to prepare and develop it on and off the field”, Pérez explained.

González also explained that “the main objective of the BHD’s educational program is to train and guide young baseball prospects signed by the academies of the MLB about managing their finances and providing them with tools that allow their future in economic and educational terms, based on the premise that only approximately 4% to 5% of young people signed get to play in the big leagues in the United States or Canada ”.

Carlos Baerga, a former major league player from Puerto Rico, spent a turn advising prospects.
