On Saturday May 13, at a place called La Peyrouse in Saint-Félix-de-Villadeix, the inauguration of the new fitness trail accessible to all and orientation trails located in the heart of the Petra Alta forest took place. The morning began with the cutting of the ribbon by the sub-prefect Jean-Charles Jobart, in the presence of the children of the school and the three sponsors of the site: Joël Jeannot, French gold medalist at the world championships in disabled athletics , Cédric Guillaud, resident of the Foyer de vie La Peyrouse and French adapted judo champion, as well as Jacques Chouly, author of the essay entitled “Le handicap en public”.

Upon arrival, Carole Alary, mayor of the town, began her speech by playing the song “6th sense” by Grand Corps Malade, thus creating a moving atmosphere. She expressed her gratitude to the funders and all the people who contributed to the realization of this “exceptional site”.
