The formation of the new Executive Committee of the Uruguayan Football Association (AUF), with the absence of a Peñarol representative among its members, continues to give rise to talk and the consultancy Factum conducted a survey on the opinion of Uruguayans in this regard.

The investigation was carried out between April 24 and May 11, with a base of 900 cases through cell phones, and from this it emerged that 46% of Uruguayans disagree with Peñarol not integrating the next Executive .

In addition, there is 24% who do not “agree or disagree”, while another 15% are in favor of the proposed conformation.

From the sample it appears that five out of 10 Uruguayans disapprove of this fact, and just over one in 10 approve of Alonso’s measure.

If we refer to what the fans of the big teams expressed separately, 60% of the fans of Peñarol disagree with the new conformation with the absence of the aurinegro team, something they share with 37% of the tricolor fans surveyed .

The new Executive Committee proposed by Ignacio Alonso, and which must go through the approval of Congress, would be made up of: Matías Pérez (interest groups), Héctor Del Campo (professional football), Eduardo Mosegui (amateur football), Aldo Gioia (National ), Carlos Manta (Sports Public Limited Companies) and Andrea Lanfranco (female share).
