On March 8, a student pilot got a mid-flight scare when his plane’s door accidentally opened over Salt Lake City, Utah. When his instructor asked him to test a faulty sensor, Ronald Shearer, 33, shook the door handle of the device. It was then that it suddenly opened, letting strong winds invade the cockpit.
