qualifying and Sprint Race programme, TV8 and Sky – OA Sport streaming

After the first day of free practice, today we start to get really serious at Termas de Rio Hondo with the qualifications and the Sprint Race valid for the 2023 Argentine Grand Prixsecond round of the season MotoGP World Championship. A very intense Saturday for the premier class of the World Championship with the new format developed by Dorna for all the rounds of the championship.

In addition to the traditional official tests with pole position up for grabs, there will in fact also be a sort of prologue to the actual Sunday Grand Prix. The sprint race (with the starting grid established by qualifying) takes place over a halved number of laps compared to the GP and assigns championship points to the first nine classified: 12 to first, 9 to second, 7 to third, 6 to fourth, 5 to fifth and so on.

The reigning world champion Francesco Bagnaia wants to try and repeat the one-two from Portimao and will be the real special observer at the wheel of the Ducati, but the official Aprilias of Maverick Viñales and Aleix Espargarò, the Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo, the KTMs also have important ambitions by Brad Binder and Jack Miller as well as the other Ducatisti Jorge Martin, Johann Zarco, Luca Marini, Marco Bezzecchi and Alex Marquez.

MotoGP, GP Argentina 2023: numbers, statistics, curiosities. In Termas de Río Hondo no one has won twice in a row yet!
