NEW YORK KNICKS-CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 102-93 | In the “bedlam” of Madison Square Garden New York, up 2-1 in the series, is off to a better startbringing more aggression and desire into the field. The symbol is Jalen Brunson (already 16 points at halftime, also with 5 rebounds and 4 assists) e Josh Hart (11 points on 11 shooting), the two former Villanova teammates who lead the Knicks to the +9 at halftime mid-race. Cleveland has a good Evan Mobley but discounts foul problems – three each – for both Garland (negative: only 2 points with 1/5 shooting) than for Mitchell, with the No. 45 of the Cavs who is doubled continuously and closes the first half with 9 points but with more turnovers (5) than assists (4). The 9-point Knicks halftime lead vanishes in an instant, with the Cavs who open the second half with a run of 14-5 and tie the game at 59. If the third quarter – and the guests’ reaction – is marked by the feats of Darius Garland, RJ Barrett, Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson are the big players in the fourth periodbringing New York forward.

They are the ones to sign the decisive extension, also taking advantage of the great difficulties in the second half of Donovan Mitchell (1/9 shooting after the interval, 11 points with 5/18 shooting finally for him). Game-4 ends with Julius Randle on the bench throughout the fourth quarter and the Knicks trio in the limelight: they are 26 points for Barrett, 19 for Hart (with 7 fundamental rebounds) and even 29 those of Brunson: no New York leads 3-1 in the serieswho returns to Cleveland for game-5, with the Cavs back to the wall.
