To do this, however, she has to beat her national team colleagues from VfL Wolfsburg in the final. “It’s hidden in the game itself, there are opponents you want to defeat,” said the 20-year-old before the final on Thursday (6 p.m.) of the German Press Agency.

At the age of 19, the nine-time national player switched from Turbine Potsdam to the French champions last summer. “I feel very comfortable in Lyon. I really like the city, the team and the whole environment,” she said. Bremer has settled in well with the French series champions, scoring seven times in their 19 appearances.

With a victory in the premier class final, the offensive player now wants to “crown a successful season.” For Lyon it would be the third title after 2011 and 2012, for the fifth time the team around stars like Swede Lotta Schelin and Norwegian Ada Hegerberg is in the final. “Wolfsburg is undoubtedly one of the best club teams in Europe,” said Bremer in praise of the opponent from Germany. “I expect a very close game at a high level.”
