As part of Olympic and Paralympic week, Inzinzac-Lochrist, in collaboration with local associations, Lorient Agglomeration and Decathlon Lorient, is organizing a multi-sports day on Wednesday April 5 at the Locastel hall. The main objective is to encourage the practice of physical activity, discover the new Olympic disciplines such as skateboarding and climbing, and promote inclusion. “This day aims to promote the unifying values ​​of sport. By creating inclusive sports environments, we can encourage diversity, mutual understanding and respect for differences,” said Mayor Armelle Nicolas.

Initiations and demonstrations

A program is offered during this day between initiations and demonstrations of different sports disciplines,

such as archery, French boxing, basketball, fishing, zumba kid, cycling, kayaking and paddle (with the Sellor depending on the water level). The Korrigans joëlettes will present disabled sports and their many projects. In parallel with these activities, on the white water park and the nautical base will take place the UNSS Kayak Championship.

Quizzes and sports challenges

Muscles and gray matter will be put to the test with quizzes and sports challenges in order to be able to win numerous prizes such as gift cards from the partner sports equipment supplier, but also the Olympic mascots for the 2024 Games. The activities are free and open to all. all. On site, throughout the day, catering and refreshments will allow athletes to regain their strength.
