Football representative was arrested, he sexually harassed a student on a school trip

Israeli football representative Boris Klaiman is suspected of sexually harassing a 17-year-old student. The 32-year-old goalkeeper was arrested, his Greek club Volos immediately dropped him from the squad and is taking steps to terminate his contract.

According to the girl’s statement to the police station, the incident should have happened on Tuesday after one o’clock in the morning in the VIP area of the club in the center of Athens.

Klaiman, who worked in the company with his teammate Rodrigo Escoval, tried to reach up the skirt of the student, who was in the Greek capital on a school trip in the background.

The young woman objected to his behavior and left. She later returned to the club to reunite with her friends, but was again sexually harassed by the bouncer. He didn’t stop even after she told him how old she was.

The girl subsequently called the police and identified Klaiman as the perpetrator. In addition, the police found drugs in the soccer player, who played for over thirty matches for the youth national team of Israel and made one start in the senior A-team, arrested him and placed him in custody.

A native of Ukraine, from where he immigrated to Israel with his parents when he was only ten months old, denied the accusations. Nevertheless, Volos, currently the sixth team of the Greek Superliga, stopped counting on him.

“By the decision of club president Achilleas Beos, Boris Klaiman and Rodrigo Escoval have been removed from the team and a process has been initiated to terminate their contracts,” the club said in a statement.

Klaiman worked in Volos for the third season, in the current year he missed only one of thirty league matches. Before that, he played for Hapoel Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem in Israel, before coming to Greece he played for Paralimni in Cyprus for two years.
