Fulfilling the forecasts prior to the start of hostilities, Carolina Marín, a volante from Huelva, has qualified for tomorrow’s final, Sunday, of the Badminton Masters in Orléans after defeating the Danish Line Hojmark Kjaersfeldt in two sets this afternoon.
Except at its dawn, the first set was always controlled by the Andalusian. Signing at its conclusion a fair 21-11.
In the second, the Dane did not want to give up (10-10 in her half), until the quality of the Andalusian ended up sentencing her with a lapidary 21-13.
In the final this Easter Sunday, Carolina Marín will face off on French soil with the North American of Asian origin Beiwen Zhang (who also had no problems in her semifinal match).
It will be necessary to see if Marín justifies his status as the number one seed in a few hours.
