Eagle Football: Crystal Palace apply historic rout and win the second with new coach; John Textor is the target of protests at Lyon

Two family clubs Eagle Footballof John Textor, lived busy afternoons in Europe this Easter Sunday. O Crystal Palace beat Leeds 5-1 away from home, while Lyon saw an organized crowd protest against the American businessman.

Under the command of the experienced Roy Hodgson, aged 75, Crystal Palace changed from water to wine and claimed their second victory in two games. Ayew (2), Guehi, Eze and Edouard scored the goals in the 5-1 rout, which also had Olise shining with three assists. The result equals the highest mark in the club’s history in the competition playing as a visitor.

On the internet, many Botafogo fans, scolding coach Luís Castro, ask if this reaction from Crystal Palace could be an incentive for John Textor to change coach at Glorioso. With the two wins, Palace are already six points clear of the relegation zone in the Premier League.

Protestos no Lyon

Lyon beat Rennes 3-1 at home on Sunday and climbed to seventh place in the French Championship, but the game was marked by protests by an organized crowd, Lyon 1950. A banner was opened in the stands with the words: “ John Fantasma Textor, when are you going to act?”, in English.

There was also another banner, this one in French, with charges to everyone involved, including CEO Jean-Michel Aulas: “From the president to the players, you sink the club, everyone is to blame!”.
