Zoom on the routines of Céline Boutier, 8th in the world after her victory at the LPGA Drive On Championship

In training: “On the course to try to score”

“I have a fairly clear perception of my game. I like to have a general idea of my stats but it’s more something that my coach looks at (Cameron McCormick, also coach of Jordan Spieth in Dallas). It helps him assess my level of play, which compartment to work on and when. It is used more and more on the LPGA since there is all this data which did not exist before. I don’t necessarily work with the Trackman when warming up, but I use it a lot on wedges, more than on other shots, to try to control my distance as much as possible. Because below 100m, that’s where you have to score with the most precision. The Trackman is quite an extraordinary tool at this level.
