During her time as a tennis professional, Carla Suarez Navarro not only acted with a very fine blade in singles, no, the Spaniard was also a more than competent doubles player. How fitting that Suarez Navarro is now the mother of twins. She announced this on Instagram with her partner, footballer Olga Garcia.
It has long been known that the two are looking forward to motherly joy. Due date will be June 2023.
During her playing career, Suarez Navarro, now 34, has climbed to sixth place in the WTA World Rankings, winning two singles tournaments (Oeiras 2014 and Doha 2016) and three doubles tournaments, all alongside Garbine Mugurza.
