At the Speed Ski World Championships in Vars, France, Manuel Kramer set a new Austrian record of 252.840 km/h. The 34-year-old from Salzburg was also able to celebrate the bronze medal on Wednesday.
Speedski World Championship bronze for Kramer
The previous record set by his teammate Klaus Schrottshammer in 2016 was 248.447 km/h. The Frenchman Simon Billy set a world record of 255.50 km/h in the final and thus secured World Championship gold.
