Hervé Renard has lowered his salary to coach the French women’s team

If the sporting challenge is interesting, a few months before the World Cup in New Zealand and Australia, the same cannot be said financially. Indeed, to lead the players of the France team, Hervé Renard had to make a financial sacrifice. As reported The Teamwith Saudi Arabia, the French technician received a monthly salary of 300,000 euros, while his emoluments should be closer to those received by Corinne Deacon, around 400,000 euros each year.

Renard is under contract until 2024

Hervé Renard has therefore divided his salary accordingly to be the coach of the Blues. In addition to his emoluments, the duration of the contract must also be taken into account. Linked with the Saudi team until 2027, his lease with the French Football Federation runs until August 31, 2024, after the Paris Olympics. The former coach of Zambia and Ivory Coast, with whom he won the African Cup of Nations, seems motivated to take up this new challenge.
