Caitlin Dijkstra (FC Twente) does not understand her red card against Fortuna Sittard

Caitlin Dijkstra will quickly want to forget the match against Fortuna Sittard Women. The defender of FC Twente Women received a red card after 23 minutes of play after a foul on the broken through Tessa Wullaert.
The defensewoman reacted in disbelief and was furious. Dijkstra couldn’t hide that anger: she shot a ball into the dug-out and then raged at the fourth official. Fortuna Sittard received a penalty due to Dijkstra’s foul, but Anna Knol was unable to take advantage of that opportunity. Less than ten minutes later, it was again against Fortuna Sittard Women’s defender Knol. She headed the ball behind Diede Lemey into her own goal and gave FC Twente Women the lead.
In the end, the team from Enschede did not keep that lead. They lost 2-1 in stoppage time.
