Urban Run & Walk op 16 April in HALLE

Be sure to keep Sunday 16 April free in your agenda! That day there is the fourth edition of the Halse Urban Run & Walk. This time we start and end on the municipal square of Buizingen. The Urban Run & Walk again crosses several buildings. It is therefore a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the Halse patrimony and the idyllic surroundings of Buizingen in a sporty way.

This year, the organization of the Urban Run & Walk is in the hands of Fris vzw, together with the city of Halle. Fris vzw is a sports and activity association for children and adults with disabilities in Flemish Brabant and Brussels. The organization also has several G activities in Halle around boccia, badminton, football and swimming.

On Sunday, April 16 at 3 pm, the starting signal for runners, walkers and wheelchair users of all ages will sound on Buizing’s municipal square for a recreational course of about 6 km through numerous buildings. Along the way and also at the arrival, we provide atmospheric fringe animation. Each participant has up to 18 hours to reach the finish.

Accessible trail

Just like the previous editions, the Urban Run & Walk is accessible for wheelchair users and buggies. The trail is completely barrier-free. We only provide an adapted detour in a few non-accessible buildings.
