UPDATE | ‘Nevertheless ban on ticket sales to Dutch people in Rome’



Feyenoord seems to be allowed to take away supporters to Rome after all. The authorities would have consulted and decided to allow away supporters, reports that Freelance journalist Willem Haak on Twitter based on statements by La Repubblica.


Feyenoord will play the second leg in the quarterfinals of the Europa League in Rome on Thursday 20 April. The mayor first wanted to introduce a general area ban, but this now seems to be canceled. Feyenoord hopes to wash away the hangover of the lost Conference League final in Rome.

The same La Repubblica reports on Wednesday evening that the Ministry of the Interior in Italy still wants to continue with a ban on ticket sales to Dutch people during AS Roma – Feyenoord.
