the Gones dropped a big check for an undesirable

Zapping But! Football Club Olympique Lyonnais: What to expect from future American investors in OL?

If the discontent of the supporters in January pushed the management of OL to make strong choices and to eject certain undesirables who were targeted, the Gones did not do great business … In particular concerning Jeff Reine-Adélaïde (ESTAC ).

Reine-Adelaide, a 50/50 loan with Troyes

As reported by L’Equipe, OL certainly recovered €1 million on Romain Faivre’s loan without an option to buy from Les Merlus, as he received money on the relaunch of Karl Toko-Ekambi at Stade Rennais, but he had to pay for the old Angevin.

Indeed, if Jeff Reine-Adélaïde made a move by increasing his salary from €250,000 to €200,000 gross per month to get back to Troyes, the Aube club only paid 50% of the player’s salary. It was therefore a check for €500,000 that Lyon had to sign so that in the end the loan from “JRA” turned into a new fiasco…

OL’s bad deal for Reine-Adelaide

Forced to let go of their Turkish heads, OL paid to send Jeff Reine-Adélaïde to relaunch at ESTAC. Les Gones paid 50% of the salary of his attacking midfielder, who is still struggling to revive himself.
