Friday will be a special day for the Oviedo bagpiper María de Los Ángeles González, who will play the Oviedo anthem at the Tartiere before the match against the Blues against Tenerife, on Friday at 9:00 p.m. Coinciding with the week of International Women’s Day, the eldest bagpiper from Oviedo will take over from the bagpiper. “It’s a responsibility and a source of pride. Years ago I spent afternoons sitting in the stands supporting Oviedo. Guti is Oviedo’s senior bagpiper and he suggested this adventure to me, he helped me a lot and gave me advice so that I could enjoy this moment,” he assured in statements to the club

“It is a great responsibility, on such an important day and in such an important week for women (the 8m). Everyone has to be able to do what they want regardless of gender. The news would be that if a woman did anything It wasn’t news,” he said.

“Women don’t have to be afraid of anything, we only have one life and we have to enjoy it to the fullest. Feelings and passions have no gender,” she stressed.
