From March 18th to 19th, at Namyangju Sports & Culture Center
The ‘9th Namyangju National Badminton Tournament’ will be held at the Namyangju Sports and Culture Center for two days from March 18th to 19th.
Hosted by the Namyangju Sports Association and supervised by the Namyangju Badminton Association, this tournament is a national level competition for the Namyangju City flag, with 608 teams and 1,200 players participating.
In particular, this competition includes elementary, middle, and high school for the first time, and many youths are expected to show off their skills that have been honed so far.
At the tournament held on the 18th, Namyangju Mayor Joo Gwang-deok, Namyangju City Council Chairman Kim Hyeon-taek, and city councilors attended the event to celebrate the opening of the tournament and cheered all the players who participated in one heart and mind.
Namyangju Mayor Joo Gwang-deok said, “I am delighted to hold the ‘Namyangju City Season National Badminton Competition’ on a spring day that gives newness, anticipation and excitement.” I hope you have a happy time sharing friendship and love together.”
Meanwhile, in this tournament, the men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles divisions will be played in the men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles divisions by age group, from elementary, middle, and high school, as well as from 20s to 60s.
